Meanwhile, Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand VIDA has launched the new and most premium model of its VX2 series, VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh. If we look at the features of this new electric scooter, features like long range, strong performance and fast charging can be seen in it. Not only this, with its launch this scooter has also made its place in the Asia Book of Records.
Range of 187Km and top speed of 90kmph
For information, let us tell you that the effective ex-showroom price of the new VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh has been kept at Rs 1,43,990. It has two removable 2.2 kWh lithium-ion battery packs. Due to which the total battery capacity becomes 4.4 kWh. According to the company, the scooter gives an IDC certified range of up to 187 kilometers once fully charged. It has an electric motor with 6 kW peak power which produces 26 Nm torque. Its top speed of 90 km/h makes it a better choice in the city as well as on the highway. Apart from three riding modes like Eco, Ride and Sport, Boost Mode is also provided in it.
Fast charge in 65 minutes, features are also great
Talking about VIDA VX2 Plus, the company has provided a 1 kW portable charger with the help of which the battery gets charged from 0 to 80 percent in about 3 hours 30 minutes. Whereas with DC Fast Charging the same work can be completed in just 65 minutes. Talking about the features, it has modern features like 4.3-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, OTA update, 27.2 liter under-seat storage and Combined Braking System (CBS). Due to the removable battery, charging separately at home or office also becomes easy.

Made a record by traveling a distance of 12,111 km
VIDA also showcased the reliability of the scooter to make this launch special. Rider Girish Shet has completed a journey of 12,111 kilometers in 52 consecutive days on this scooter. The journey extended from Bengaluru to Delhi and covered all the IPL host cities of Kolkata Knight Riders en route. For this achievement the scooter got the record of “Longest Journey by an Electric Scooter” in the Asia Book of Records.
At the same time, the company is also making this scooter available under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, so that customers will be able to buy it at a lower initial cost. Deliveries of the VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh will begin from late July 2026 at authorized dealerships across the country. With long range, fast charging and record-making capability, this scooter can give a tough challenge to brands like Ola Electric, Ather and TVS in the Indian EV market.
