iGoWise Mobility opens pre-bookings for innovative electric leaning trikes.

Bengaluru-based iGoWise Mobility has announced limited retail pre-bookings for its smart electric leaning trikes, marking its debut in the India three-wheeler market with a focus on personal urban mobility.

Positioned as a better alternative to traditional motorcycles, trikes are designed to require no additional licensing or dedicated parking, while providing superior stability and safety through proprietary engineering.

The vehicles feature iGoWise’s patented anti-topple swiveling mechanism and Level-2 self-balancing technology – developed in-house through indigenous R&D – to overcome handling and stability issues that have long hindered the adoption of personal use trikes.

“India is the world’s largest three-wheeler market, yet personal use trikes remain largely unknown due to handling difficulties and safety concerns,” said Shravan Kumar Appana, CEO, iGowise Mobility.

Trikes have dual rear wheels designed to provide superior road holding and traction. Technical specifications include a top speed of 70 km/h, 80 Nm of torque with acceleration from 0 to 30 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and three battery configurations providing ranges of 70 km, 100 km and 140 km using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) and Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate (LMFP) battery packs.

As per the company’s specifications, the base model uses an 88V charging system that reaches 80 percent capacity in 100 minutes via standard home charging. iGoWise says the charging approach is designed to minimize battery degradation over time.

The vehicles include a triple-disc combined braking system (CBS) and the company uses a dual-wheel drive configuration for better climbing ability on slopes. The chassis features steel space-frame construction that is backed by a standard five-year warranty.

iGoWise emphasizes serviceability in its design approach, stating that most components can be maintained in traditional mechanic shops rather than requiring specialized service centers.

iGoWise Mobility, operating under the “Make in India” initiative, focuses on domestic manufacturing and supply chain for its electric leaning trikes. Pre-booking is open on igoways.com/prebook, followed by phased deliveries. The company targets a new segment in India’s EV market – offering a stable, three-wheeler alternative to traditional two-wheelers for riders who are not ready to shift to four-wheelers.
