NIO delivered 37,705 vehicles in May 2026, up 62.3% year-on-year.

NIO Inc. reported strong growth in May 2026, delivering 37,705 vehicles, representing an increase of 62.3% year-on-year and an increase of 28.4% compared to April. The performance was driven by growth across all three of the company’s vehicle brands, highlighting the continued momentum in China’s competitive electric vehicle market.

Of the total deliveries, NIO’s premium smart EV brand contributed 20,013 units, up 50.8% year-on-year. Family-oriented brand ONVO delivered 12,029 vehicles, registering an increase of 91.5% year-on-year and 124.8% month-on-month. Meanwhile, premium compact EV brand Jugnu delivered 5,663 vehicles, growing 53.9% year-on-year and 13.7% month-on-month.

During the first five months of 2026, NIO delivered a cumulative 150,526 vehicles, representing an increase of 68.7% compared to the same period last year. The company’s cumulative deliveries have now reached 1,148,118 vehicles.

NIO further strengthened its product portfolio during May with the launch of the all-new ES9 flagship executive SUV, which was unveiled on May 27 and customer deliveries began immediately. ONVO also expanded its lineup with the launch and deliveries of the L80 on May 15, while deliveries of the 2026 ONVO L90 began earlier this month.

Looking ahead, ONVO is preparing to launch the new L60, which made its public debut and opened for pre-order at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show. The model is scheduled for an official launch on June 11, with display vehicles already arriving at ONVO retail stores across China.

The strong delivery performance, coupled with an expanded product lineup across multiple brands, underlines NIO’s continued growth trajectory and strong position in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle market.
