Ultraviolette Automotive has shipped the first batch of its made-in-India F77 Mach 2 high-performance electric motorcycles to the European Union (EU) markets, marking a major step in the company’s global expansion.

The flag-off ceremony held at Ultraviolette’s manufacturing facility in Bengaluru was led by Union Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Karnataka Government’s Industries and Commerce Minister MB Patil.

Expressing his appreciation for UltraViolet’s achievements, Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy said, “UltraViolet’s expansion into the European market represents a defining moment for India’s automotive industry, enhancing our country’s ability to compete on the global stage. IQube ST February – March Delivery –

Based on this 90-day timing, it is now being estimated that the company can start the delivery of the IQube ST variant in the new year from February-March 2023. Information about when its delivery will start again is not yet available. It is expected that the company can also resume its delivery from the new year.

Tata Nexon EV Max (Tata Nexon EV Max), the long-range version of Tata Motors’ best-selling electric SUV Nexon EV, was finally launched in India on Wednesday. The company has launched Tata Nexon EV Max in the Indian market at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 17.74 lakh. Which goes up to Rs 19.24 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. Tata Nexon EV Max has been launched in two variants – XZ+ and XZ+ LUX.

Motor power and speed
The Tata Nexon EV Max packs a 40.5kWh battery under the floorpan, which is 33 percent more than the standard model. The lithium-ion battery powers the electric motor mounted on the front axle. This setup claims to output 143bhp and 250Nm. Thus, it is 14bhp more powerful and produces 5Nm more torque than the standard Rand model of the Nexon EV. Torque will be available at the push of the pedal. The Tata Nexon EV Max electric SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 9 seconds.

Tata Electric is offering two charging options with the SUV – the standard 3.3kWh charger and the 7.2kWh AC fast charger. Fast charger can be installed at home or office. The battery pack of the Nexon EV Max can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 56 minutes with any 50 kW DC fast charger. While it can be fully charged in 15-16 hours via 3.3kWh charger and 5-6 hours via 7.2kWh AC fast charger.

driving range
Despite housed a larger battery pack, the Nexon EV Max continues to offer a boot space of 350-litres. The automaker says that the Tata Nexon EV Max gives a range of 437 km on a single full charge (under standard test conditions). It has been claimed to travel from Mumbai to Pune, Bangalore to Mysore, Chennai to Pondicherry, Delhi to Kurukshetra, Ranchi to Dhanbad and Gandhinagar to Vadodara. In real world conditions the car will give a driving range of around 300 km.

Powerful Features
The Nexon EV Max comes with three drive modes – City, Sport and Eco. A new drive mode selector has been given in this model along with an active mode display. Moreover, the new Tata Nexon EV Max comes with selectable regeneration braking system which enhances its efficiency. This car gets advanced ZConnect 2.0 connected car technology which comes with 48 connected car features. Along with this, Tata Nexon EV Max gets features like ventilated seats, all new Makrana beige interior, leather seats with ventilation for front passengers, wireless smartphone charging, auto dimming IRVM, an air purifier, cruise control, a park mode .

Ford Electric Car News : American automaker Ford has postponed its plan to manufacture electric vehicles (EVs) in India for export despite getting approval from the government under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. Earlier in September last year, Ford had announced the closure of vehicle production at two of its plants as part of its restructuring process.

The company had then said that it was exploring other options for its Chennai and Gujarat plants. A Ford India spokesperson said the company continues to explore possible options for its manufacturing facilities as part of the ongoing business restructuring in India. These options also include applying for the PLI scheme, allowing plants to be used as potential EV manufacturing bases, he said.

However, after carefully reviewing the plan, we have decided not to pursue the plan for manufacturing EVs for export from any of our plants, the spokesperson said. We are grateful to the government for approving and supporting our proposal under the PLI scheme. We will continue to explore our options. On the future of the company’s two manufacturing plants in India, the spokesperson said, “We continue to work closely with trade unions and other stakeholders to deliver an equitable and balanced plan to mitigate the effects of the restructuring.”

It is worth noting that Ford, after struggling for nearly three decades in India, last year decided to shut down vehicle production at two of its plants and sell only imported vehicles in India as part of the restructuring. Ford, which has invested about $ 2.5 billion in Chennai and Gujarat’s Sanand plants, has incurred losses of more than two billion dollars in India.

Buyers can also book its booking online on the company’s website. The new EV6 has been developed on the brand’s electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which will form the basis of the company’s other electric cars in the future. The company will launch this new electric car in India on June 2, 2022. However, initially only 100 units will be available in India and it will be brought to the country via the CBU route.

The model gets the brand new ‘Opposites United’ design language and will be available in India in exclusive trims called GT Line. The Kia EV6 gets ultra-fast charging and its battery pack can be charged up to 10-80 percent in just 18 minutes using a 350KWh charger. For India, the Kia EV6 has been given a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is available in two trims.

The rear-wheel drive variant uses a single motor that produces 226 Bhp of power, while the all-wheel drive variant develops 321 Bhp of power. The company claims that its battery pack gives a range of up to 528 km (WLTP cycle-rated) in the RWD version and 425 km in the AWD version once fully charged. The Kia EV6 gets multiple driving modes, which include Normal, Sport and Eco, along with smart regenerative braking.

The electric car has also been equipped with many modern features and it will be equipped with dual 12.3-inch curved display, Meridian sound system with 14 speakers, electric sunroof, Augmented Reality (AR) head-up display, powered tailgate and advanced driver assistance system (DRAS).
