e-SPRINTO accelerates dealer network expansion, targets 200+ dealers by FY28

Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer e-Sprinton has announced a two-phase dealer network expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its retail presence across the country. The company is targeting a network of over 200 dealerships by FY28, as it looks to expand its market reach and improve reach of its electric two-wheeler portfolio.

Under the first phase, e-Sprinto will prioritize expansion in North, South and West India. In the second phase, the company plans to expand its dealership network to Central and Eastern India, taking its retail reach to a wider national market.

The expansion strategy aims to build a strong distribution network, increase customer reach and support the company’s growth ambitions in India’s rapidly growing electric two-wheeler market.

By adopting a phased approach, e-Sprinto intends to establish a strong presence in key regional markets before expanding its reach to additional geographies, with a long-term objective of crossing 200 dealerships by FY2028.

e-Sprinto plans to add around 20 dealers in North India, 15 in South India and 15 in West India with priority markets including Delhi-NCR, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune. The company aims to have more than 50 dealers across India by March 2027, building a strong retail base in these regions and improving access to its products for potential customers.

In Phase 2, the company plans to expand its reach in Central and Eastern India by taking its retail network to additional markets. This phase will build on the presence established during the first phase, with plans to expand to cities including Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar. Through this phased approach, e-Sprinto is targeting 200+ dealers across the country by the end of FY 2028, with the network expected to support its broader ambitions in the electric two-wheeler market.

Commenting on the development, Shalu Gupta, Co-Founder, e-Sprinto, said, “Building a dealer network goes beyond entering new markets. It means partnering with people who understand local consumers and can support them through their EV ownership journey. Our focus is on the 3S – Sales, Service and Spares, ensuring a strong ownership experience while aligning our manufacturing capacity and dealer network to support the growth of the business.”

The expansion follows the launch of the e-Sprinto G1, the company’s first electric scooter for the business-to-consumer (B2C) market, with prices starting at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom Delhi). Developed after almost two years of dedicated R&D and consumer research, the G1 has been designed to suit the everyday needs of Indian travellers. It combines multiple battery options, different riding modes and utility-focused features with the aim of making electric mobility accessible to a wider range of consumers.

e-Sprinto’s expansion is supported by its existing manufacturing infrastructure, which comprises three manufacturing facilities with an annual production capacity of 1.5 lakh units. Over 70,000 units of e-Sprinto are currently on Indian roads, which provides an installed base as it grows beyond its B2B business and builds its presence in the B2C segment.
