Ather Energy delivered 500 Konark electric scooters during a customer handover event in Delhi on Sunday, October 25, which was attended by buyers and their families. Delhi remains a key market for the electric two-wheeler maker in North India, where it has set up a network of 17 experience centers and 209 fast-charging points in the Delhi-NCR region.

Ather Konark is available in six variants with a range of up to 200 km

Ather Konark is available in the S and Z product series, with six variants offering an IDC-certified range of up to 200 km. The electric scooter has a 14-inch front alloy wheel, 12-inch rear alloy wheel and a 1,352 mm wheelbase. It is equipped with long-travel suspension at both ends, steel unibody chassis and metal rear-side panels.

Powering Konark is Ather Energy’s fifth generation Bedrock battery. The battery comes with a warranty of 10 years or 1,00,000 kilometres, whichever is earlier. The company guarantees a minimum of 70% health condition at the end of the warranty period.

10,000km service interval

The Konark’s service interval is 10,000 km, which Ather Energy says could be about one service per year for most riders depending on usage.

The electric scooter also features a sequential gear-drive transmission that is designed to provide smooth and near-silent power. Its engineering focuses on stability, ride comfort and everyday usability on Indian roads. Konark is part of Ather Energy’s electric scooter portfolio, which also includes the 450 series and Rizta. The delivery milestone in Delhi highlights the company’s presence in the capital’s electric two-wheeler market.
