Bizliride partners with Flipkart Minutes to accelerate electric last-mile delivery

Electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem and urban mobility platform, Bizliride, has partnered with Flipkart’s instant-commerce service, Flipkart Minutes, to support sustainable last-mile delivery operations in key urban markets ahead of the festive season.

Under the partnership, Bizliride will deploy electric two-wheelers in phases in five key markets: Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune. The initiative aims to support the last-mile delivery operations of Flipkart Minutes while promoting the use of electric mobility in urban logistics.

Instead of adopting a rigid, fixed fleet allocation, deployment leverages an agile, demand-based operating model. Fleet Volume Surge scales dynamically to match delivery volumes and rider onboarding requirements, supporting Flipkart’s broader effort towards 100% electric mobility by 2030 and seamlessly integrates with Flipkart’s EV Assist initiative.

With over 6,000 electric vehicles deployed across the country, Bizliride is addressing one of the most critical challenges faced by the accelerated commerce sector: vehicle downtime. Bizliride offers a comprehensive, full-stack ecosystem that integrates flexible commercial rental plans, battery swapping and doorstep battery delivery, dedicated fleet maintenance, 24/7 on-road assistance and telematics-powered fleet management technology.

“Accelerating the adoption of EVs in commercial logistics doesn’t just mean putting more electric two-wheelers on the road; it requires building a reliable, full-stack operational engine around those vehicles,” said Shivam Sisodia, Founder and CEO of Bizliride. “In instant commerce, vehicle uptime directly impacts the livelihood of delivery partners. Our partnership with Flipkart Minutes is built to make green mobility practical, commercially viable and scalable. By providing strong on-road support, battery infrastructure and accessible rentals, we are ensuring that electric logistics provides solid economic value to both enterprise platforms and delivery executives.”

The main priority of the alliance is to optimize unit economics for gig workers. Fuel represents one of the largest recurring expenses for delivery riders operating conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) two-wheelers. By transitioning to BizliRide’s asset-light rental model, riders avoid prohibitive upfront capital expenditures while significantly reducing their operating costs per kilometer, enabling them to retain a larger portion of their daily earnings.

To support delivery partners during the high-volume festive shopping period, Bizliride and Flipkart Minutes have structured festive rental benefits and prioritized vehicle availability to ensure that gig partners can maximize on-road earning hours without maintenance hassles.

As the demand for accelerated commerce in urban centers continues to grow, this collaboration represents a significant operational milestone in building zero-emission, economically viable logistics networks across India’s metropolitan economies.
