Tesla has announced the opening of a Tesla Approved Body Shop (TAB) in Ahmedabad to enhance its after-sales and ownership experience in Gujarat. Local Tesla owners now have access to genuine parts, trained body repair technicians, and collision repairs performed to Tesla standards, reducing downtime and providing greater peace of mind in Ahmedabad and the surrounding Gujarat region. Tesla-approved body repair shops are now operational in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi and Ahmedabad.
In addition to the body shop launch, Tesla has also opened a test drive and display facility for the 2026 Model Y Premium rear-wheel drive and Model YL in Ahmedabad. A test drive can be arranged at tesla.com/en_in/drive or by calling 1-800 203 1538.
Model Y Premium rear-wheel drive is priced at Rs 50,89,000 with a down payment of Rs 6,00,000 and EMIs starting from Rs 39,990 per month. It offers 2,138 liters of storage space, can accommodate five people, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, and has a range of up to 500 kilometers (WLTP). Deliveries begin in July 2026.
Model YL is priced starting at Rs 61,99,000 with a down payment of Rs 6,50,000 and EMI starting from Rs 49,990 per month. It has a three-row, six-seat all-wheel drive layout, a cargo capacity of up to 2,539 liters, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.0 seconds, and a range of up to 681 km (WLTP).
