NueGo, Greencell Mobility’s intercity electric mobility brand, has partnered with L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited to offer integrated travel solutions combining intercity bus and urban metro connectivity in Hyderabad.
As part of this collaboration, passengers booking NewGo intercity bus tickets can now seamlessly incorporate metro connectivity – either to reach their boarding point or to travel from their drop-off location to their final destination. Metro tickets will be directly linked to Newgo PNR, removing the need for separate booking or payment process. Passengers can collect their metro tickets from the station counters by simply presenting their NewGo ticket.
The service will be available at selected stations on all three corridors of the Hyderabad Metro network and will be integrated into the NueGo website and mobile application, enabling a seamless, end-to-end booking experience.
Commenting on the initiative, Devendra Chawla, Managing Director and CEO, Greencell Mobility, said the partnership reflects the shared vision of combining clean intercity transport with efficient urban transit to create a seamless passenger journey.
The integration aims to promote end-to-end electric mobility by connecting intercity electric buses to metro rail systems. Newgo indicated that the service will go live as planned, with expansion to additional metro stations being considered in the future.
