Ola Electric has officially started mass deliveries of its scooters powered by the in-house-developed 4680 Bharat cell, marking a major milestone in the company’s endeavor towards fully indigenous battery technology. The S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) becomes the first model to feature this locally made battery pack, which promises higher range, stronger performance and better safety.
Equipped with a 13kW motor, the updated S1 Pro+ accelerates from 0-40km/h in just 2.1 seconds and offers an IDC-certified range of 320km in DIY mode. The scooter offers four ride modes – Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco – as well as dual ABS and disc brakes at both ends for better controllability.
To complement the performance upgrades, the refreshed S1 Pro+ introduces a range of new design elements, including:
