In this, the excellent response received by SUVs like Punch, Nexon and the new Sierra has done a great job. Mahindra & Mahindra, on the other hand, sold 60,393 cars in June. However, the company’s total vehicle sales including all segments were 1,06,207 units, which shows an increase of 37% compared to last year.

    Hyundai sales declined, Toyota and Kia showed strength

    It is further being reported that in June, Hyundai’s domestic sales declined by almost 10% to 39,635 units. Regarding which the company says that due to a fire in a supplier’s factory, production was affected for about 22 days. However, now production has started normally in all the plants. Toyota, on the other hand, sold 28,441 vehicles, to which strong demand for Innova Crysta contributed significantly. Whereas Kia India sold 24,552 units, JSW MG Motor 7,568, Nissan 3,006 vehicles and Renault sales have also registered improvement.
