VFLY, a relatively new manufacturer from China, has just revealed its latest offering, the N100 MAX e-scooter that looks straight out of a sci-fi movie. Loaded to the brim with technology, this scooter has been built in collaboration with Porsche Design Studio. Amazing!
The overall design of the scooter ranging from the sharp front fascia to the rear subframe is clean, sharp and minimalistic. The LED headlight, which has a massive integrated VFLY logo, stands out at the front while the indicator/DRL panel gels into the body of the scooter. Coupled with some funky graphics, it is clear that this scooter is targeted at Gen Z.
If you think that a scooter designed by Porsche Design Studio would have some advanced features, you would be right! To begin with, the N100 MAX e-scooter gets a full-color touchscreen display integrated with functions such as navigation, music and phone calls, which can also be controlled through an inbuilt AI enabled voice assistant. Additionally, there are multiple ways to switch on the scooter via a smart key management system, wherein one can create temporary keys for friends and family on their smartphone, use Siri on their iPhone to unlock the scooter or use a smart bracelet or NFC card.
Powering this e-scooter is an electric motor developing 65Nm, which should give it a fair amount of oomph. Developed in-house, this motor is paired to a 48V 25Ah (1.28kWh) automotive-grade lithium battery with a IPX7 waterproof rating (dust rating has not been done yet). This vehicle is suspended on telescopic shock absorbers at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear, both of which are said to be fully adjustable.
