Wardwizard & Battery Vampire with Swappable Battery for Smart Partner EV

Wardwizard Innovation and Mobility Limited, a major manufacturer of electric two-wheelers under Joy e-bike and Joy e-rick brands, has announced a strategic partnership with battery smart, India’s largest and fastest growing battery-swapping network.

Under the partnership, Battery Smart will install its state-of-the-art battery-swapping infrastructure in all Joy e-bike dealerships. This cooperation introduces a flexible “Battery-e-Service” model, making customers capable of buying happiness without battery, reducing a sufficient cost of 20% to 30% of the total vehicle cost. Customers can then rent swapable battery through the battery smart based on the pay-e-u-use, which can make EV ownership more accessible and cost-effective. This partnership offers dealers and distributors an opportunity to install swapping stations at their places, which will help dealers and distributors to expand the battery smart by giving an additional revenue stream.

The integration of the swapable battery technology of the battery smart will initially be accompanied by an additional model under the development on the Joy e-bike model such as globes and general next. These vehicles will allow seamless battery swaps on broad networks of Swapping stations of Battery Smart, which are currently working in major metro including Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. The nationwide rollout will follow the phased approach starting from January 2026.

Commenting on the partnership, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovation and Mobility Limited, Mr. Yatin Gupte said, “This partnership is a game-chainer for India’s EV ecosystem. By diclipting the battery from the vehicle, we are dealing with two biggest obstacles to complete the Ev-Bir.

This is an important milestone for both the Battery Smart for both individual consumers and the growing B2B market for Battery Smart.
