Vinay Pawar appointed Group CTO of Greaves Cotton amid “Greaves Next” push.

Greaves Cotton has appointed Vinay Pawar as its group chief technology officer (CTO) with effect from May 4, 2026, according to a regulatory filing.

Pawar has nearly three decades of experience in automotive electronics, industrial automation and connected mobility. During his career, he has held leadership roles at Spark Minda Group and worked with leading global companies such as KPIT Technologies, Continental Automotive, Bosch and ABB.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, an MBA in Technology Management and postgraduate qualifications in AI and Machine Learning.

The appointment is part of wider senior management changes at Greaves Cotton, with Pawar overseeing technology functions across the company’s diverse business operations. This is also in line with the company’s forward-looking “Greaves Next” strategy, under which it has pledged to commit capital expenditure of ₹500-700 crore over the next five years to drive future growth and innovation.
