In view of the increasing demand, companies like Tata Motors, Mahindra, Kia and JSW MG Motor India are preparing to launch their new 7-seater SUVs in 2026. The special thing about which is that petrol, diesel, electric and hybrid all options can be seen in these new models.
New entry in electric segment from MG Hector Hawk
In this list, JSW MG Motor India can launch its new electric SUV MG Hector Hawk around August 2026. It will be based on the company’s new ADAPT (Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology) platform which has been prepared for different powertrains. Reports have revealed that its design may be inspired by the Wuling Eksion sold in Indonesia.
This SUV is likely to get a 69kWh battery pack and an electric motor of around 210bhp. Along with this, its plug-in hybrid version can also be introduced in future. Which is expected to be launched this year around Diwali 2026.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift will get a new look
Mahindra is another name in the list which can also introduce the facelift model of its famous Scorpio N in 2026. There is little possibility of major mechanical changes in this update but the exterior will get a new look. Kia Sorento has emerged as the fourth name in this list, which can become the company’s first hybrid SUV in India. It is likely to be launched by October 2026. It can get options like 1.6-litre turbo GDI strong hybrid petrol engine and 2.2-litre CRDi diesel engine.
