MG Electric Car In India: The demand for large family cars i.e. 7-seater SUVs is increasing rapidly in the Indian automobile market. Currently, this segment is dominated by Toyota Innova and Kia Carens, but now this equation is about to change. Leading auto manufacturing companies Mahindra and MG Motor India are preparing to launch their new 7-seater vehicles in August 2026.

What will be special in MG’s new 7-seater?
MG Motor India is going to launch a new premium three-row electric SUV to strengthen its hold in the electric vehicle (EV) segment. According to reports, this model will be based on the company’s special ‘ADAPT’ platform and is believed to be inspired by the ‘Wuling Eksion’ sold in the international market.

The biggest feature of this electric SUV will be its range. It can be provided with a large battery pack of 69kWh, which will be able to cover a distance of about 600 kilometers once fully charged. For power, it is expected to get a 210 bhp electric motor, which will make it easy to travel long distances. A seating layout of 2+3+2 will be available inside the cabin, in which seven people will be able to sit comfortably.
When is Mahindra Scorpio N being launched?
Mahindra is going to introduce one of its most popular SUVs ‘Scorpio N’ in a new avatar. It is expected that the company can unveil its facelift model on 15 August 2026.
The new Scorpio N will see some important design changes, such as an updated front grille, newly designed bumpers, attractive headlamps and new alloy wheels.
Talking about the interior, the facelift model can be given a new 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system and new seat covers, which will give a more premium look to the cabin. However, no major changes are likely on the engine front. In this, only the existing 2.0 liter turbo petrol and 2.2 liter diesel engine options can be continued.
