Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility launched India’s largest Tata. Magchurger hub on World EV Day | Vampire

Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility and leading EV charging provider, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, the country’s top electric 4-wheeler manufacturer, has participated in Mumbai’s first premium, large-scale EV charging hub to launch under Tata.AV Megacger initiative.

On World EV Day, this co-branded mega EV charging hub is jointly Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Power and Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited were inaugurated.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is located near Terminal 2 of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in the premises of Leela Mumbai Hotel. The VEV megachurger hub is designed to serve the diverse mixture of EV users of the city- from private car owners to taxis, riding-hyling fleet and logistics operators. This prominent place allows this megachurger hub to complete the city’s business and tourists’ footfalls, making clean mobility accessible to those who fly continuously, hotel guests and professionals, which are in the thunderstorm -Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) -Suth Mumbai corridor.

Equipped with eight fast DC chargers with speeds of up to 120 kW, facility provides 16 charging bays, making it one of the largest and most advanced charging stations in the city. 16 To charge EVS simultaneously, this hub eliminates long waiting time, ensuring a spontaneous user experience even during peak hours.
