Tata.ev, India’s leading four-wheeler manufacturer and a leading driver of the country’s electric mobility revolution inaugurated their first 10 high-speed Tata.Ev Megachargers. Started in collaboration with Chargeson and Static, the initiative follows the recent pledge of the brand to expand more than India’s EV charging infrastructure by more than 400,000 to 400,000 by 2027.
As part of its ‘Open Cooperation’ structure, Tata.Ev has a strong partnership with several charge point operators (CPOS) and oil marketing companies (OMCs). This collaborative approach is rapidly expanding the charging network at strategic locations, with a special focus on highways, to enable smooth and reliable long distance EV travel.
Tata.ev Megacharger Network stands as a major initiative within this strategy-for altra-fast charging, increased feature and strong credibility. This development is a major step to strengthen India’s EV ecosystem and support the transition of the country towards clean and connected mobility.
The first 10 tata.ev megachurger sites, Balaje Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Limited have been asked to introduce, said, “At a time when EV adoption is on its development path, omnipresent and reliable infrastructure is needed. Tata.ev has launched the first phase of its megachurger network with 10 strategic high -speed charging stations in major highways and urban centers in India, which is as part of its commitment to establish a nationwide 500 megachargers. These high -capacity chargers are designed for rapid, accessible and premium EV charging experiences, especially in EV regions with high density.
Mumbai -Ahmadabad Highway: Vadodara (400 kW, 6 vehicles charged), VAPI, and three charger in Ghodbandar (up to 120 kW), in addition to 150-200 km with comfort and food facilities. Delhi -Jipur Highway: Four charger in Gurugram, Kaprevas, Hamjapur, and Shahpura (every 120 kW) spreads popular food and every 60 km in the hospitality hub. Pune-Nashik Highway: A charger in Rajgurunagar (120 kW) was placed by the Central Marg to ensure a smooth intimate journey. Bangalore (Electronic City): The monk offers rapid charging with a rapid charging at the mention with access to an urban charger, cafe, Wi-Fi, retail and co-functioning places. Udaipur: A charger in the Remi Royal Resort (120 kW, 4 parking bay), designed to both tourists and locals with full features for a comfortable experience.
This rollout reflects the mission of Tata.Ev to build a reliable, charging ecosystem ready for the future to support India’s growing EV adoption.
