Switch Mobility distributes the first batch of EIV12 electric buses for Delhi Transport Department

Switch mobility, a global leader in electric buses and light commercial vehicles and part of the Hinduja Group, flagged off the Switch EIV12-low floor electric city buses from its landmark 950-units order to the Transport Department, Delhi, honored under CESL tender.

These buses were dispatched by Honorable Chief Minister, Mrs. Rekha Gupta, Dr. Pankaj Singh, in the presence of Honorable Transport Minister; Sh. Manoj Tiwari, Honorable Member of Parliament (North East Delhi); Sh. Surya Prakash Khatri, Honorable MLA (Timarpur); Ms. Niharika Rai, Commissioner, Department of Transport, Delhi; Sh. Prince Dhawan, Managing Director, DTC, Delhi; Dr. Chaddha, Senior Advisor, Hinduja Group; RG Venkataraman, Chief Commercial Officer, Switch Mobility; And Saurabh Chaudhary, CEO, Om Global Mobility. This occasion is an important milestone for Delhi’s permanent urban mobility.

Built in the state -of -the -art facility of the switch, these buses adopt the company’s ‘Make in India for the World’ vision, bringing state -of -the -art global technology and Indian manufacturing excellence together.

Ultra-Lo-floor switch EIV12 platform, designed to demand Delhi’s urban transit requirements, facilitates comfortable seating for 39 passengers. These 12-meter electric buses offer an impressive range to originally complete the daily schedule and are equipped with advanced security and passenger facilities, including different passengers, CCTV cameras, panic buttons and wheelchair ramps for GPS trekking. Eargonically adapted and wisely engineers, switch EIV12 performs global standards in performance, durability, safety and better passenger comfort.

The switch EIV12 gives an example of the state -of -the -art design sewn to the community of urban city, offering a smart and mild solution that increases metropolitan dynamics. Its streamlined ultra-lo-floor design ensures easy passenger boarding and a smooth ride through Delhi’s stirring roads. The efficient rear-end of vehicles enables rapid recharging by customizing the dual-gun charging interface depot spaces. Switch ions, operated by proprietary telematics systems, buses offer real -time vehicle health monitoring, intelligent transport management system (ITMS) and efficient fleet management capabilities.

Giving priority to passenger safety, each bus is equipped with an advanced fire and equipped with the oppression system (FDSS). The floor-mounted LFP battery contributes to a lower center of gravity, ensuring excellent vehicle stability and increased safety during operation.

The deployment of these electric buses align with the vision of the Delhi government to maintain its situation as the Indian city with most electric buses. This rollout is expected to reduce co₂ emissions, improve air quality and provide safe, more comfortable traffic for millions of daily bus users in Delhi.
