Skoda Auto has revealed the first interior sketches of its upcoming all-electric compact SUV, the Skoda Epic, offering an early look at the brand’s most affordable EV to date.

The Epic will be the first production model to fully adopt Skoda’s new Modern Solid design language, which is characterized by a clean layout, minimalist styling and a strong focus on functionality.

Skoda has also confirmed that the global premiere of the Epic will take place on May 19, 2026 at 2 pm in Zurich.

The interiors of the Epic have been designed from the ground up in line with the modern solid design language. The first interior sketches provide an initial impression, prioritizing clean, angular design, clarity and ease of orientation. The horizontal interior architecture replaces a traditional dashboard, enhancing the feeling of space and openness, while ambient lighting elements contribute to a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere.

The clearly structured layout enables intuitive operation, ensuring ease of use for both driver and passenger. An open storage compartment underlines the practicality of the interior, while the free-standing center console integrates wireless charging for added convenience. Sustainable materials are selectively applied in line with the modern solid approach of Skoda’s interior.

The Skoda Epic will play a key role in doubling Skoda’s BEV portfolio by 2026. As part of the European City Car family within the Volkswagen Group’s Brand Group core, this all-electric entry-level SUV crossover will help make electric mobility accessible to a broader group of customers.
