Skoda Peak electric SUV: First design sketch revealed

Skoda Auto has unveiled the first exterior design sketch of its upcoming all-electric seven-seater SUV, the Skoda Peak, offering an early glimpse of the brand’s future flagship EV. The new model reflects Skoda’s evolving modern solid design language, characterized by clean surfaces, sharp lines, strong proportions and distinctive lighting.

The sketches highlight a bold and contemporary exterior, featuring precisely sculpted bodywork, a prominent stance and signature design elements such as T-shaped headlights and a Tech-Deck face, underscoring the brand’s transition into a new era of electric mobility.

The world premiere of the all-new Skoda Peak is scheduled to take place on June 23, 2026 at 18:25 CET in Monetier-Mornoux, France.

Commenting on the design philosophy behind the vehicle, Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Skoda Auto, said, “In designing the exterior of the Skoda Peak, we consistently applied the modern solid design language, featuring clean lines, balanced proportions and distinctive elements. Precisely sculpted surfaces and clearly structured details create a reassuring, timeless appearance, while the T-shaped headlights and Tech-Deck face express Skoda as distinctive features. A new electric Identity in the Age.”

At the front, the slim T-shaped headlights, the gloss-black tech-deck face and the connecting elements between them form a distinctive, frame-like loop motif. It has been compared to a volcano-shaped bumper, with its clear bottom outline and clearly defined horizontal line.

The side view is dominated by the high shoulder line and wide D-pillars, which emphasize the vehicle’s strong stance. Structured surfaces further emphasize its bold proportions. The drawings also highlight the flush door handles integrated seamlessly into the bodywork.

The rear mirrors the front design, with T-shaped tail-lights and a connecting element that forms the unmistakable loop motif. This visually differentiates the peak while also ensuring that it is recognizable at first glance.
