River Mobility has reached a significant manufacturing milestone with the rollout of the 50,000th unit of its Indy electric scooter. This achievement comes less than three years after the scooter hit the market, highlighting the company’s steady growth in India’s electric two-wheeler segment.
Hoskote manufacturing facility increases production
The Indi is manufactured at River Mobility’s integrated production facility in Hoskote, Karnataka, where both the electric scooter and its battery pack are assembled. Along with expanding production capacity, the Bengaluru-based EV maker has also strengthened its retail presence, expanding its network to over 75 stores across India.
According to the company, the Indy was designed to meet the needs of everyday commuters by combining practicality, utility and performance. Rivers said the latest production milestone reflects its continued focus on enhancing manufacturing capabilities while expanding its retail and service footprint across the country.

River Indi is priced at Rs 1,55,199 (ex-showroom). Customers can book a test ride or purchase the electric scooter through River Mobility’s retail outlets across India or through the company’s online sales platform.
