Published:

Pure EVone of India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers, has unveiled an ambitious roadmap to strengthen its presence across the country and expand globally while offering innovative solutions for sustainable mobility. Over the next 30 months, the company aims to add 250 new dealerships, taking its total network to more than 320 across India. The expansion will be driven by growing demand for long-range scooters, electric motorcycles, large B2B contracts and the company’s entry into the home brand space.

Highlighting the company’s commitment towards innovation and safety, Dr. Nishant Dongari, Founder and MD, Pure EV said, “Pure EV is the first company to integrate Nano PCM (Phase Change Material) into its battery system for efficient thermal management Is. This advanced technology eliminates the risk of unsafe thermal events, ensuring better safety for electric vehicles and enhancing consumer confidence.”

“The adoption of Nano PCM has not only enhanced the safety profile of our EVs: bringing it to zero incident rate, but has also significantly improved battery performance, resulting in 20,000 customers across India crossing 40,000 kilometers of range. Have been and are still going,” Dr. Dongari further said.”

Pure EV has focused on electric motorcycles as motorcycles dominate 70% of the two-wheeler market in India. The company has already launched two models – the EcoDraft, designed for the 110 cc market, and the eTryst, which is designed for the 125 cc segment. This model uses PURE EV’s innovative technology to deliver a mileage of 171 km/charge and advanced powertrain technology

Additionally, PURE EV is deploying predictive AI and cloud AI technologies to ensure battery/power-train longevity of more than 50,000 km through its X-platform. These systems provide predictive driving/load discharge and real-time updates on vehicle health and service requirements, enhancing the ownership experience for customers and improving operational efficiency for dealers. The company also plans to launch generative AI-powered customer support services to enable personalized communication in regional languages while ensuring timely service delivery.

Dr. Dongari highlighted the important role of large B2B contracts in the company’s growth strategy. Pure EV has recently supplied 300+ e-motorcycles to Tamil Nadu Forest Department and Tata Power in Odisha. Such collaboration not only drives sales but also demonstrates the growing acceptance of e-motorcycles in fleet operations.

Expanding beyond India, PURE EV currently exports its electric two-wheelers to Nepal and Bhutan. By the fourth quarter of the 2024-25 financial year, the company plans to begin exports to the Middle East and Africa, an important step in its journey to become a global player in the electric mobility market.

The company is also set to launch PurREPower in CY 25, built using our vehicle battery/power-train platform. PurePower, our revolutionary innovative product that will become a household brand, is designed with an attractive, intuitive system for power back-up of all major home utilities. It will redefine the way we provide energy. It provides 2 times more surge power than the existing system. Plus it can be integrated with renewable energy and a truly AI-powered user experience. Whether guaranteeing uninterrupted power during outages or maximizing the potential of renewable energy, PurePower makes it all easy, our PurePower solutions will open new possibilities for comfortable living, aligned with net zero and sustainability goals,” said Dr. Dongari said.

With its industry-first safety innovations, e-motorcycles, purepower and customer-centric approach, Pure EV is well-positioned to lead the transformation of India’s electric mobility landscape while meaningfully contributing to global net-zero goals.
