India’s largest EV manufacturer Ola Electric has launched its generation 3S1 scooter portfolio, which features increased performance, efficiency and safety. The lineup provides a wide range of batteries and pricing options, which starts from INR 79,999 for S1 X (2KWH) and S1 Pro+ 5.3KWh (Introductory Prices) reaches INR 1,69,999. Ola announced the continuous sale of its generation 2 scooters at concessional rates, with upcoming Moveos 5 updates, extended warranty plans and new gig, S1 Z scooters, and roadster motorcycle chain.
Generation 3 scooter comes with standard 3-year/40,000 km warranty for both scooter vehicles and batteries, with an alternative extended battery warranty of up to 8 years or 1,25,000 km for INR 14,999. Built on a better platform, the new model features a mid-drive motor and chain drive in the range, increasing both performance and reliability. A integrated motor control unit (MCU) optimizes the range and efficiency, while the updated platform increases 20% more peak power, 11% cost reduction and 20% in the range compared to generation 2. In addition, a category-earlier dual anti-anti-lock braking system (ABS) and patented brake-venue technology improves safety and increases energy collection by 15%.
1 Pro+ Scooter and Pricing
Flagship S1 Pro+ has been introduced in two battery variants: 5.3kwh version with 4680 Bharat Sale, priced at INR 1,69,999, and INR is 4KWh model at 1,54,999. The S1 Pro comes with 4kwh and 3kwh battery options, priced at INR 1,34,999 and INR 1,14,999 respectively.
The S1 X lineup includes 2KWH version of INR 79,999, 3kwh at INR 89,999 and 4kwh at INR 99,999. Additionally, S1 X+ INR with 4KWH battery is available for 1,07,999.
Ola introduced its generation 2 scooters at discounted prices. The S1 Pro is now starting from INR 1,14,999, while the S1 X model (2KWH, 3KWH, and 4KWH) starts from INR 69,999, INR 79,999, and INR 89,999 respectively, which makes EV ownership more accessible.

Ola electric generation 3 represents a major jump in platform electric scooter technology. With increased performance, efficiency, security and reliability, the new lineup sets a new benchmark in the Indian EV market.

The S1 Pro+ models offer a powerful 13 kW motor, which achieves a top speed of 141 kmph (5.3kwh) and 128 kmph (4KWH). Acceleration from 0-40 km per hour takes a time of 2.1 seconds and 2.3 seconds respectively. The 5.3KWH version has a 320 km range (IDC), while the 4KWH version offers 242 km (IDC). Four riding mode (hyper, sports, normal, eco), dual ABS, front and rear disc brakes, angled ergonomics, a two-tone seat, body-colored mirror, an aluminum grab handle, rim delicles and an extended color palette are included .
Moveos 5 Beta: Moveos 5 beta will roll out in mid -February 2025. The update will introduce features like Smartwatch app, Smart Park, India Mood, Road Trip Mode, Live Location sharing and Emergency SOS.
Gig and S1 Z Scooter Range: Ola Electric also announced the launch of Gig and S1 Z Scooter Range including Ola Gig, Ola Gig+, Ola S1 Z, and Ola S1 Z+. The introductory values are INR 39,999, INR 49,999, INR 59,999, and INR 64,999 (Ex-Showroom). These scooters have removable batteries for both individual and commercial use. The reservation is open to INR 499, with the delivery for the Gig Series in April 2025 and for the S1 Z series in May 2025.
The Roadster Motorcycle Series includes Roadster X (2.5KWH, 3.5KWH, 4.5KWH), Roadster (3.5khh, 4.5kh, 6kwh), and Roadster Pro (8kwh, 16kwh), which INR 74,9999, INR 1,04,999, and Starts, and INR 1,99,999, respectively. These motorcycles provide new technology and performance features.
