Indian two-wheeler electric vehicle (EV) brand Odyssey Electric has secured investment from Zip Electric to accelerate its national expansion. This also includes an order for delivery of 40,000 electric vehicles over the next three years. The deal highlights the rapid growth and potential of electric mobility in India.
This investment is expected to significantly boost the B2B penetration of Odyssey Electric along with expanding the dealership network across the country. By increasing production and expanding delivery capabilities, Odyssey aims to expand its production to meet the growing demand for clean and efficient mobility and delivery options in the personal space as well as in the last-mile delivery space in both urban and rural areas. Capacity has to be increased.
