Oben Electric inaugurates 75th showroom in Nagpur.

Leading Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer Oben Electric has opened its 75th showroom in Nagpur, which was inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. The new facility located in Hanuman Nagar houses a modern showroom and a dedicated Oben Care Service Centre, expanding the company’s footprint in Maharashtra to seven outlets.

This expansion is part of Oben Electric’s ambitious plan to reach over 150 showrooms and service centers across India by the end of this financial year, strengthening its presence in key cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi, Jaipur, Amritsar, Hyderabad and Lucknow.

“The launch of our 75th showroom in Nagpur reinforces our commitment to making premium commuter electric motorcycles more accessible to Indian customers,” said Madhumita Agarwal, Founder and CEO, Oben Electric. He highlighted that the company’s growth is supported by strong internal research and development.

The company’s flagship motorcycle, the Oberon Roar EZ Sigma, comes in two battery variants – 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh – offering a range of up to 175 km on a single charge and a top speed of 95 km/h. Starting at Rs 1.16 lakh, this model has three ride modes, a five-inch color display with navigation and smartphone connectivity.

Oben Electric’s motorcycles are powered by LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, which are known for better heat resistance and longer lifecycle durability compared to conventional batteries. Customers can also buy Rorr EZ Sigma online through Flipkart and Amazon.

Each showroom’s service center is staffed by certified technicians trained to handle company-owned components, ensuring 24/7 customer support and a 90% problem-resolution rate within 72 hours.

Established in August 2020, Oben Electric operates a 3.5-acre manufacturing facility in Bengaluru with an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. With over 25 patents, the company is positioned as one of the early pioneers in India’s electric motorcycle industry.
