Magenta Mobility, a leading player in India’s clean energy and power dynamics sector, has appointed Sujit Cherian as its new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). With more than 25 years of experience in corporate strategy, investment banking and financial planning, Sujit joins the company in an important phase, which brings deep industry expertise to help in running strategic growth and innovation.
Sujit is a chartered accountant, with a proven track record in running trade change and scale to high-development companies. Before joining the magenta, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer in Leap India, where he played an important role in increasing the evaluation of the company from ₹ 150 crore to ₹ 5,000 crore. During his specific career, Sujit has organized leadership positions at Bravia Capital, Rent Alpha, Go Air, Jet Airways and Indian Hotel Company (TAJ Group), where he led major strategic initiatives, M&A transactions and operational scale-ups in various fields including logistics, aviation and financial services.
