Komaki launches metal-body electric scooters MG Pro V and MG Pro+, starting at ₹73,999 |

Komaki, one of India’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers, has expanded its electric two-wheeler portfolio with the launch of MG Pro V and MG Pro+ electric scooters. Priced at ₹73,999 and ₹79,999 (ex-showroom) respectively, the new models bring premium engineering to the mass market with one standout feature – an all-metal body, which is rare in the electric scooter segment at this price.

Designed for riders seeking a durable and reliable mobility solution without compromising affordability, the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ combine robust construction with practical everyday performance. Unlike many electric scooters in the segment that use fiber body panels, Komaki’s latest offering features an all-metal body, offering increased strength, better durability and a more solid, confidence-inspiring riding experience.

The MG Pro V offers a range of 90-100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ extends the range to 150+ km, making both models suitable for daily commute as well as long urban rides. Powered by BLDC hub motor and advanced LiPo4 battery technology, the scooters are engineered to deliver reliable performance with low maintenance requirements.

Apart from their metal construction, both the scooters are equipped with features that enhance convenience and safety, including mobile app connectivity for battery health and range monitoring, front disc brake, telescopic suspension, anti-theft lock, parking assist, repair switch and a spacious riding platform. MG Pro+ also offers large boot space, meeting the practical needs of everyday riders.

Speaking on the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Co-Founder, Komaki Electric Vehicles, said, “The electric two-wheeler market has grown rapidly, but affordability should never come at the expense of quality. With the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, we wanted to provide customers with features that are traditionally associated with more expensive vehicles. These include a strong metal body and safe, long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries, which are superior to many electric two-wheelers currently available in the market and This combination inspires confidence among customers. It also reflects our commitment to making premium build quality and modern technology accessible to a wider audience. “

With the introduction of MG Pro V and MG Pro+, Komaki continues to strengthen its portfolio by offering products that combine durability, technology and value. By making metal-body electric scooters accessible at highly competitive price points, the company is setting a new benchmark in the affordable EV segment while meeting the growing expectations of Indian consumers.
