Kinetic, a long-standing name in the Indian two-wheeler industry, has introduced the upgraded Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kW, combining the familiar design and heritage of the iconic DX with modern electric technology, increased range and enhanced everyday practicality.
The updated DX+ is powered by a 3.1 kWh LFP battery, which offers an IDC-certified range of up to 132 km on a single charge. The large battery is paired with a 3.8kWh peak-power hub-mounted BLDC motor, providing a practical and confident riding experience tailored for urban commuters.

The biggest upgrade on the DX+ is its 3.1 kWh LFP battery, which has been engineered to offer a combination of range, durability and everyday usability. The battery offers a certified IDC range of up to 132 km, helping riders undertake daily commutes with more confidence and fewer charging worries.
The DX+ also features K-Coast Tech for power regeneration, which enables energy recovery during deceleration and contributes to an efficient riding experience.
Complementing the battery upgrade is a 3.8kW peak-power hub BLDC motor, designed to deliver a responsive and smooth urban riding experience.
The DX+ retains the iconic all-metal body, preserving the distinctive design language that has made the Kinetic DX instantly recognizable over the years while integrating technology and features designed for the needs of today’s electric scooter rider.
Designed for everyday convenience
The Kinetic DX+ 3.1kW combines 132km IDC range with practical features like quick charging, riding modes, reverse assist, regenerative braking, IP67 protection and 37-litre under-seat storage. It also gets telematics, tubeless tyres, front disc and rear drum brakes and 165 mm ground clearance, making it suitable for everyday urban commuting.
The Easy Charge system further simplifies charging, while the 0-80% quick-charging capability of approximately three hours helps minimize charging downtime.
The scooter’s Park Assist with Reverse adds convenience while maneuvering in tight urban spaces. IP67 water and dust protection provides added reassurance for everyday riding in a variety of road and weather conditions.
The generous 37-litre under-seat storage enhances the practicality of the scooter, providing ample space for everyday essentials and making the DX+ especially suitable for urban commuters.
Performance and ride dynamics
The DX+ 3.1 kWh combines its advanced battery with a hub-mounted BLDC motor that delivers a peak power of 3.8 kWh. Riders can choose between Range and Power riding modes, allowing them to customize the riding experience to suit their needs.
With 165 mm ground clearance, 1,315 mm wheelbase and 12-inch tubeless tires at both front and rear, the DX+ has been engineered to provide a stable and confident ride in everyday urban conditions.
Braking duties are handled by a 220 mm front disc brake and 130 mm rear drum brake, while the 714 mm seat length is designed to provide a comfortable riding position.
