Expansion
Kia Upcoming SUVs In India: South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia is working on a big plan to further strengthen its hold in the Indian automobile market. The company aims to include 10 new models in its portfolio in India by 2030.
The special thing is that out of these 10 models, 8 will be electrified, which shows the future vision of Kia. Under this plan, three major SUVs will be launched by the year 2027, which include Seltos Hybrid, Sorento Hybrid and Ciros EV.
Kia Seltos Hybrid is ready
The hybrid version of the Seltos, one of Kia’s most popular SUVs, is set to hit Indian roads in early 2027. Although the company has not yet officially announced its powertrain, but experts believe that an electrified version of the existing 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine can be given in it. In terms of design, it will remain the same as the current model, but it will have a special branding of ‘Hybrid’ which will give it a different identity.
