Kazam crosses 1 lakh EV chargers, leading India towards 30% EV adoption by 2030

Kazam, India’s leading EV charging infrastructure and energy-tech company, has achieved a major milestone by installing over 1 lakh EV chargers across the country. Covering 3,900 pin codes, Kazam has established one of India’s most extensive and accessible EV charging networks, laying a strong foundation for the country’s clean mobility transition.

A significant part of this growth comes through strategic partnerships with top automotive names including Mahindra and Bajaj. By integrating the OEM-led ecosystem with its independent charging network, Kazam is making EV adoption more seamless and convenient for millions of users in urban and semi-urban areas.

This milestone is in line with India’s ambitious target of achieving 30% EV penetration by 2030. Recognizing that accessible and reliable charging infrastructure is key to accelerating EV adoption, Kazam’s rapid expansion ensures that hardware-agnostic, future-ready charging solutions are available where they are needed most, helping the country transition to clean energy.

Kazam’s unique model, spanning residential, commercial and fleet charging, allows interoperability across multiple OEMs, giving users the freedom and confidence to transition to EVs without range anxiety. The company has already produced more than 45 GWh of energy through its platform and is expanding rapidly with hardware-agnostic technology, battery energy storage integration and peer-to-peer energy trading pilots.
