International Motors, LLC has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the All-Electric International 25 ERH ™ Series, Class 8 Regional Dhona tractor. Engineer, ERH is introduced in both 4 × 2 and 6 × 4 axle configurations for heavy-charge regional and drayage operations and provides a range of up to 300 miles depending on the capacity and use of the battery.
“We are thrilled to introduce ERH as part of our growing class 8 battery-electric lineup,” said Justina Morosin, Senior Vice President of Sales and Field Operations at International. “This joint confirms our commitment to innovation and ensures a comfortable, end-to-end experience for our customers by purchasing through long support.”
Built on the proven foundation of the diesel-powered RH series, ERH is adapted to productivity in local and regional drums applications. This provides a 113 ″ bumper for customized forward visibility, as well as the major wheelbase of the industry for the tight twist radius with a cab (BBC) measurement. It provides for safe road operations, with bendix fusion integrated driver assistance system. Ergonomic design provides sufficient space for ease of use and easily uniformized switch.
Michael Greh, Executive Vice President of International, International, International, said, “I am proud of R&D and all cross functional teams. It was not a small task to bring ERH into the market, and this is something in which everyone is proud.” “Our teams are working hand in hand with our customers during this development process to ensure that ERH not only meets its business demands, but will continue so well in the future as commercial transport landscape develops.”
The ERH lithium nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) comes with 500kwh usable battery capacity from 300kwh to 300kwh, which provides high energy density in a compact location. This allows ERH to pack with low curb weight, which maximizes payload and profit for the customer.
The leading and single eaxle configurations reduce complexity and maximize the efficiency of the vehicles drivetrain. It results in low total operating costs, providing peak and constant strength with optimal performance. ERH provides three levels of driver-selectable renewable braking, which allows drivers to correspond to their needs.
“We have invested heavy in infrastructure, operations and training to ensure that we are ready to adopt batteries electric vehicles,” said Paul Roja, Senior Vice President of Penske, Pennske, Senior Vice President, Paul Roja. “We are one of the first people to display ERH’s abilities.”
