iGowise Mobility (iGO), a deep-tech startup focused on smart mobility, is set to launch Beigo, a heavy-duty pickup trike this Diwali. Designed to meet the growing demands of the ecommerce sector, BeiGo will operate under a rider-to-owner model in partnership with BBNow, Flipkart Minutes and Swiggy Instamart. iGo plans to deploy 6,000 units of BeiGo over the next 18 months, supported by collaboration with after-sales service providers, EV OEMs and financiers to enhance the instant commerce sector.
The company has also introduced pricing models such as VaaS (Vehicle as a Service) and BaaS (Battery as a Service) in partnership with EvateTech, which allow access at zero upfront cost and flexible subscription fees.
“Currently, 50% of logistics costs are linked to last-mile operations, making the transition to lightEVs necessary. Almost all ecommerce giants have committed to complete electrification by 2035. However, due to lack of adequate incentives, many riders hesitate to switch from petrol vehicles,” the company said.
Additionally, the logistics sector is burdened by fatigue caused by vehicles not designed for the load. With the arrival of BeiGo, we aim to change that equation by offering them a high-capacity option without hurting their shoulders and knees. Additionally, our flexible VaaS and BaaS pricing models will allow riders to increase their earning potential with consistent income of up to Rs 40,000 per month,” said Shravan Kumar Appana, co-founder and chief executive of iGo.
