Exponent Energy again designed the charging station with a 15 -minute rapid charge. Vampire

Published:

Bangalore-based Energy Tech Startup Examination Energy has unveiled its next generation charging station, code-name P4, which is powered by its 15-minute rapid charging technology. With this launch, the exponent sets a new benchmark for EV infrastructure, which re -define both design and engineering.

The new charger integrates three major innovations:

Traditional EV charging stations are heavy and boxes. The P4 charging station of the exponent is re -designed as a wall, its width has been reduced to only 400 mm and is running along the length of the parked vehicle. This design ensures better space use, which is important in dense cities. EV charging cables and connectors globally are heavy and difficult to handle. Custom-designed 3-Xis cable management system of the exponent solves that problem. The cable floats, effectively reduces weight near zero, and automatically retreat. The world’s first company to launch the offboard battery cooling unveiled in 2023 was the first company to pump the coolant through a connector for a vehicle. The new charger offboard battery adds heating, allowing it to pre-heat and cool the battery inside the vehicle, which ensures rapid charging and prolonged life in any environment.

Space uses, unwanted cables and battery temperature management are challenges to charge EV worldwide. For its new charger, the ambush determines to solve all these problems through intelligent design and engineering – not only for rapid charging, but for any kind of EV charging. Manufactured in India and the world in India.

Commenting on the launch, Arun Vinayak, co-founder and CEO, Examnant Energy, said, “Everything in the ambush begins with design thinking. The design is not about aesthetics, but about thinking of everything again based on a 1 theory to learn better on engineering and economics. Charger.

Charger provides up to 40 kW and already being deployed in cities across India, used by OEM partners such as Montra Electric, Omega Seki Mobility, and others, which accelerates rapid adoption in both passenger and commercial EV segments.

Exponent Energy is a full-stack energy company, building battery packs, charging stations and custom charging connectors, enabling 15 minutes of charging time for any size EVS. It attracts learning from its earlier chargers, which was launched as a simple design to prove rapid-charging technology and gain experience on real-world use.

The result is the P4 charger, which is designed to make EV charging comfortable as fuel. Smooth, wall -like design freely frees valuable real estate, is important in a dense urban environment. Floating cables require minimal effort from the driver so that you can automatically plug in and withdraw when unlocked. Built to bear India’s most difficult conditions, the connector comes in a full-metal shell, and uses spring-powered axial seals similar to LPG and CNG guns for coolant, and functional also remains under water.

Beyond the connector, the P4 integrates the offboard battery pre-heating for extreme cold weather performance (the offboard cooling, which was unveiled in 2023, was unveiled in 2023), adapted airflow to reduce fan noise in cities, and a revived internal layout for long-term reliability. Completing the experience, the exponent app provides real -time information to the users on charger location and availability, and the ability to basically charge with a monthly pass, not any kard or manual payment required on the charger.

Since its inception in 2020, the ambush has come a long way, providing strength to 2,000+ EVs across India, which led to a faster charging sessions over 8 million, and covered over 50 million kilometers. The company has also expanded its footprint to five new cities, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Hyderabad, unlocking EV scalability at the national level. For India, first, and only third in the world, Examination also introduced its 1 MW rapid charging technology for buses in August last year. In addition, the World Economic Forum has selected exponent energy for its 2025 Technology Pioneers List, which has recognized 100 early stages companies from 28 countries that driving innovation in industries.
