EKA Mobility targets 200+ dealerships by FY27 to strengthen EV ecosystem

India’s leading commercial electric vehicle manufacturer EKA Mobility has announced the rapid expansion of its authorized dealer network, a strategic move aimed at addressing one of the most persistent barriers to EV adoption – the lack of reliable sales and service infrastructure at the last mile. The company, a champion OEM under the Auto PLI scheme of the Government of India, is backed by Mitsui & Co. (Japan), VDL Group (Netherlands), NIIF India-Japan Fund and Enam Holdings.

With 60 operational dealerships across the country and over 30 exclusive outlets opening soon, EKA Mobility is establishing a strong, future-ready retail footprint to power India’s evolving last-mile transportation ecosystem. This expansion is in line with the Government of India’s appeal to the country to adopt public transport and electric vehicles. Targeting high-demand logistics corridors, dense urban centers and emerging Tier 2 and 3 markets where commercial electrification is growing rapidly, EKA’s expanded network will seamlessly support critical sectors including e-commerce, FMCG distribution, logistics and public transportation.

By rapidly expanding its nationwide retail footprint, EKA Mobility is addressing one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption, access to reliable sales and service infrastructure. Each dealership is purpose-built for commercial EV servicing, equipped with a minimum of two dedicated service bays, factory-trained manpower and guaranteed parts availability to ensure maximum vehicle uptime for fleet operators.

Rohit Srivastava, Business Head and Chief Growth Officer, EKA Mobility, said, “Last-mile connectivity is at the heart of India’s mobility transformation. With a presence across 15 states, we are continuously building a strong and accessible retail ecosystem for our customers. As the demand for electric commercial vehicles grows, it is important that customers not only have easy access to products, but also reliable service and long-term support. Looking ahead, we are looking forward to expanding our network to 20+ states. Planning to expand to over 200 dealerships by FY27, we will further strengthen our reach across key markets, as we remain committed to making electric mobility more accessible, practical and reliable for businesses across India.

EKA Mobility’s state-of-the-art dealerships across the country will showcase its complete ‘Born Electric’ portfolio. The ‘Designed in India’ and ‘Made in India’ range comprises pure electric commercial vehicles that are smart, clean and future-ready for every transportation need.
