Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer e-Sprinton has launched the G1 electric scooter in India, entering the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment. Priced at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the G1 is designed for families and everyday commuters, expanding the company’s focus beyond business and fleet customers to individual riders and homes.
Developed from nearly two years of research and development (R&D) and consumer research, the e-Sprinto G1 is designed to meet the practical mobility needs of Indian consumers. Electric scooters have multiple battery options, different riding modes, and utility-focused features aimed at making electric mobility more accessible for everyday use.
The e-Sprinto G1 is available in three variants, with prices starting at ₹89,999 for the 2.0kW version. The 2.5 kW variant is priced at ₹94,999, while the top 3.0 kW variant is priced at ₹99,999. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Built around everyday mobility
The e-SPRINTO G1 offers three battery options with a claimed range of 80 km, 100 km and 130 km respectively. Three riding modes – Eco, City and Sport – offer speeds of up to 30 km/h, 40 km/h and 50 km/h respectively, allowing riders to choose a mode that suits their riding needs.
The scooter comes with a 150 kg lifting capacity, 12-inch tubeless tires and 165 mm ground clearance, making it suitable for various conditions encountered on Indian roads. Its IP67-rated battery adds another layer of protection against dust and water ingress under specified test conditions.
The G1 also has a combi braking system and digital display. Navigation functionality is available through an optional subscription, allowing customers to activate it as per their needs. These features are part of e-Sprinto’s vision to develop a practical electric scooter for daily commuting and family use.
From B2B experience to B2C ambitions
The launch of the G1 builds on e-SPRINTO’s experience in the B2B electric two-wheeler market. According to the company, currently more than 70,000 units are on Indian roads.
With 3 manufacturing facilities and an annual production capacity of 1.5 lakh units, e-Sprinto is looking to expand its operational experience in the consumer market. The company’s approach focuses on product availability, after-sales service, spare-parts support and consistent quality – areas it wants to prioritize while building its B2C presence.
Commenting on the launch, Shalu Gupta, Co-Founder, e-Sprinto, said: “The launch of the G1 is an important milestone for e-Sprinto as we expand into the B2C market. Our experience in the B2B segment has helped us understand that the relationship with the customer extends far beyond the product. Reliability, availability, service and spare-parts support are equally important. Over the last two years, we have addressed the needs of Indian families. At G1 we aim to make electric mobility more accessible while building long-term trust with our customers.
