Ampere Electric Scooter: The market of electric vehicles is continuously growing in India. Somewhere in this increase, the continuously increasing prices of petrol and diesel have also had an impact, after which people have started looking for more economical and environment-friendly options. Amidst all this, a new option has emerged in the electric two-wheeler segment. In which Ampere has launched its new low-speed electric scooter Ampere Reo VYB. Its biggest feature is that neither driving license nor RTO registration is required to run it. This scooter has been launched especially for students, senior citizens and first-time electric vehicle buyers.
Price and design attracted people’s attention
Talking about the starting price of Ampere Reo VYB, it has been kept at Rs 69,499. The company has introduced it as its premium low-speed model. Along with this, if we talk about the design of the vehicle, the scooter has been brought in a more modern and sporty look than before. Apart from this, LED DRL is provided in the front and ambient lighting on the side body which makes it attractive. The special thing to note is that the company has launched it in four colors like warm white, pastel purple, dark gray and aqua metallic.
80Km range and easy charging
Talking about other features, this electric scooter has a LFP battery of 1.44 kWh capacity. The company has also claimed that this scooter can give a range of up to 80 kilometers once fully charged. Its maximum speed is stated to be 25 kilometers per hour, due to which no license and registration is required to drive it. Not only this, it takes about 5 hours 30 minutes to fully charge the battery, which is quite convenient for daily use.

Strength in features and performance too
Ampere Reo VYB also includes key-less go system, premium key fob, reverse mode, full LED lighting, LCD digital instrument cluster and 24 liters of under-seat storage. For the performance of the scooter, it has a 0.25 kW hub motor which produces a peak torque of 35 Nm. There is a 12 inch alloy wheel and disc brake at the front while a 10 inch wheel is provided at the rear. Along with this, ground clearance of 140 mm and wheelbase of 1310 mm ensures better balance and comfortable ride on city roads.
