BYD India has introduced a limited-edition SEALION 7 Celebration Edition for the festive season, which features an exclusive tan and black interior. Based on the SEALION 7 Premium Edition, the special edition will be limited to 150 units and will be priced at Rs 50.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The launch extends BYD India’s festive campaign, ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’, which connects the festive season with the design, technology and performance features of the electric SUV.
The limited-edition model retains the SEALION 7 Premium as its foundation, with the special interior color combination serving as its key distinguishing feature. By limiting the availability to 150 units, BYD India is offering the Utsav Edition as a special offer to customers during the festive period.

The tan and black interior serves as the main visual differentiator of the Celebration Edition, adding a warmer and more sophisticated character to the cabin of the SEALION 7. This variant retains the core specifications and features of the SEALION 7 Premium, including its 82.56 kWh blade battery supported by BYD’s Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology and Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control (iTAC). The premium variant delivers 230 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 6.7 seconds and a claimed range of 567 km as per the NEDC test cycle.
SEALION 7 combines its electric performance with a premium technology and comfort package, including a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, quilted Nappa leather seats, panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade and head-up display. Safety is at the heart of the product proposition, with the SEALION 7 boasting 11 airbags and a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
Since its launch in 2025, BYD SEALION 7 has attracted strong customer response, with over 4500 units currently in operation across India, establishing a strong presence in the premium EV segment in 2026. The eSUV has also earned recognition in the automotive industry, including a maximum 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP, Luxury Mid-Size SUV of the Year at ACKO Drive TOTM 2026, Premium EV of the Year. Car & Bike Awards 2026, Premium SUV of the Year at the TV9 Awards, and Best EV Design at the CarBike360 Auto Excellence Awards 2026.
