Byd India has revealed the pricing for the 2025 model year sedan sedan starting at 41 lakh (East-Dhorerooms) since its debut in March 2024.
The sedan is introduced in three variants:
Dynamic (RWD) with 61.44 kwh battery – ₹ 41,00,000 premium (RWD) with 82.56 kWh battery – ₹ 45,70,000 with 82.56 kwh battery (AWD) – ₹ 53,15,000
2025 seal comes with significant upgradation, including a new lithium iron phosphate low-voltage battery that is six times lighter than traditional options and provides a 15-year lifetime. The top-spec performance version is faster than 0–100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Rajiv Chauhan, head of electric passenger vehicles in Byd India, stated that 2025 updates focus on “ride comfort, cabin experience and smart feature”, which reflect customer response.
The 2025 byd seal receives the major upgradation, including the display trim include the Dysus-C Intelligent Dumping System and the frequency selective dampers in the premium variants. All models now have wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, upgraded air purification and better interiors with a power sunshine.
Seal has earned several awards, including EV Sedan of the Year and Premium EV of the Year, and was the top-three finalists for the World Car of the Year at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show.
Beed India, Global EV leader BD, operates two factories with more than $ 200 million in investment and has a growing network of 40 dealerships. It currently offers four electric models: Celsius 7, Amax 7, Seal, and Ato 3.
