BYD India has expanded its retail and service network in Maharashtra with the inauguration of a new showroom and service center in Baner, Pune. The facility is the company’s 49th showroom in India, strengthening its presence in one of the key electric vehicle markets in the country.
The new outlet will bring BYD India’s premium electric vehicle portfolio closer to customers in Pune, while the service center will also support the company’s after-sales network in the region.
The expansion reflects BYD India’s continued efforts to strengthen its retail footprint and improve customer access to its new energy vehicle (NEV) range.
The showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles Business, BYD India, Mr. Shrirang Joshi, National Sales Head of Passenger Vehicles Business, BYD India and Mr. Sanjay Thakkar, Chairman and Founder, Group Landmark in the presence of senior officials from BYD India and Landmark BYD. The new outlet marks BYD’s second dealership in Pune, strengthening its presence in the city as EV registrations surge by nearly 40% in the first half of 2026.
Spread across 4,000 sq ft, the state-of-the-art showroom is designed to offer customers a contemporary BYD experience, with space for up to six vehicles and a dedicated display area for the brand’s premium NEV range. Landmark’s entry in Pune also includes a new state-of-the-art service center at Tathawade, equipped with dedicated service bays, trained technicians, advanced service equipment, EV charging stations and a customer lounge to support the after-sales experience.
The showroom will showcase BYD’s existing portfolio in India as well as the newly launched BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic. Since its launch in 2025, BYD SEALION 7 has received a strong response from customers, with over 4,500 units currently in operation across India, strengthening its position in the premium EV segment. Priced at a starting INR 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the SEALION 7 Dynamic features a 71.8 kWh blade battery, offering a claimed range of up to 520 km (NEDC) and 0-100 km/h acceleration at 7.3 seconds. Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, it also features cell-to-body technology, intelligent torque adaptation control and a rotating touchscreen infotainment system.

With the landmark BYD Pune outlet, BYD India’s network now expands to 49 showrooms across 40 cities. Its Indian portfolio includes BYD SEALION 7, BYD SEAL, BYD ATTO 3 and BYD eMAX 7 as well as the recently introduced DM-i super hybrid technology.
