Bizliride, India’s leading SaaS-based electric two-wheeler rental platform, has partnered with ThunderPlus, a fast-growing EV infrastructure network, to expand its presence in Hyderabad and enhance customer convenience. This partnership supports BijliRide’s vision to accelerate EV adoption by integrating technology, infrastructure and access at scale.
Bizliride and ThunderPlus will together set up integrated pickup and drop-off points across the city, allowing customers to rent or return the electric two-wheeler, replace or charge the battery, and access quick repair services. The initiative aims to simplify the EV rental experience and strengthen Hyderabad’s sustainable urban mobility ecosystem.
Hyderabad, which has been the launchpad for BezliRide since its inception, continues to be at the forefront of electric mobility adoption in India. The dynamic mix of professionals, students and gig-economy workers in the city makes it the ideal test bed for Bizliride’s hub-and-spoke (STAR) expansion model. “Our objective is very clear: to make sustainable mobility more accessible and convenient for everyone in Hyderabad. With ThunderPlus’ strong infrastructure network and Bizliride’s growing EV rental platform, this collaboration allows us to create seamless pickup and drop-off points that go beyond vehicle rentals, battery swapping, charging and quick service support. Let’s offer. This is a joint step towards building a reliable and connected ecosystem for urban mobility,” said Shri. Shivam Sisodia, CEO and Co-Founder, Bizliride.
“ThunderPlus is thrilled to join hands with BijliRide to make EV rental and charging easily accessible, starting with Hyderabad and extending across our network of 250+ ThunderPlus Hubs. Through this collaboration, each Hub evolves into a multi-activity EV hub – offering fast charging, battery swapping and quick service support all under one roof. With innovations like the ‘Thunder Tez’ 12kW LEVDC fast charger and the ‘Chai Pe Charge’ initiative, we are ensuring that riders can recharge up to 80% in just 10 minutes while enjoying short breaks. At ThunderPlus, we believe in collaboration over competition and are committed to building an ecosystem that truly addresses range and charging concerns for every EV commuter. “,” said Rajeev YSR, CEO of ThunderPlus.
Looking ahead, Bizliride plans to expand this partnership model to other Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, replicating the success blueprint of Hyderabad and scaling up operations across the country. The company’s existing STAR model, starting from its flagship 24/7 operations center in Madhapur, Hyderabad, will continue to evolve into a city-wide grid for sustainable mobility.
