Bizliride introduces franchise model to empower local entrepreneurs and boost EV adoption across India AutoguideIndia

Bizliride, India’s SaaS-enabled electric two-wheeler rental platform, has announced the launch of its franchise-owned, franchise-operated (FOFO) expansion model, a significant step towards democratizing EV entrepreneurship in the country. Under this initiative, the company plans to expand its franchise presence in key metro markets including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi NCR.

As part of its growth roadmap, Bizliride aims to onboard over 20 franchise partners and deploy over 5,000 electric two-wheelers across the country by FY2026. The FOFO model is designed to enable local entrepreneurs, SMEs and mobility operators to participate in India’s rapidly growing EV ecosystem, while allowing BijliRide to scale its operations in a capital-efficient and community-led manner.

Through this initiative, franchise partners gain access to comprehensive marketing, branding and operational support as well as Bizliride’s proprietary fleet management technology. Strengthened by tie-ups with OEMs and financial institutions, this model simplifies both vehicle purchasing and funding for its partners. Designed for small business owners, fleet operators and first-time EV entrepreneurs, the franchise model presents a ready-to-run, futuristic business opportunity with transparent operations and sustainable profitability potential.

Under this structure, Bijliride follows a 70:30 profit-sharing arrangement, which ensures shared success between the company and its partners. With an initial investment of ₹14-16 lakh for a 50-vehicle fleet, franchisees can expect to achieve breakeven after 13 months of stable operations. While Bizliride oversees technology, lead generation and brand sustainability, franchise owners manage local operations, fleet performance and customer engagement, creating a strong and scalable ecosystem built on shared growth.

“At BijliRide, our goal has always been to make electric mobility scalable, profitable and inclusive,” said Mr. Shivam Sisodia, CEO and Co-Founder, BijliRide. “With the franchise model, we are opening the doors for local business owners to become active participants in the EV revolution backed by our brand credibility, digital ecosystem and operational know-how. We believe this model will not only empower entrepreneurs to achieve financial independence, but will also help accelerate the transition towards clean mobility in India. Our vision is to build a trusted network of partners driving sustainable change on the ground.”

With this launch, BijliRide is paving the way for a decentralized, inclusive and sustainable mobility network across the country. The franchise model reinforces the company’s long-term vision of driving widespread EV adoption, supporting local entrepreneurship, and building a cleaner, smarter future for urban mobility.
