BYD India has opened its 49th showroom in Pune, India. This is the company’s second dealership in the city, operated by Landmark BYD (part of Group Landmark). BYD said the opening comes as electric vehicle registrations in Pune grew by nearly 40% in the first half of 2026.
The 4,000-square-foot showroom can display up to six vehicles. Landmark has also opened a new service center in Tathawade, Pune, with service bays, trained technicians, electric vehicle charging stations and a customer lounge.
The showroom will showcase the newly launched BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic, which is priced at Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is equipped with a 71.8 kWh blade battery, has a claimed range of up to 520 kilometers (NEDC), and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. BYD said that since its launch in 2025, more than 4,500 SEALION 7 units have been put into operation across India.
BYD’s Indian network now covers 40 cities and its product lineup includes SEALION 7, SEAL, ATTO 3 and eMAX 7. Purchase eligible vehicles to receive the “Share your dream with BYD” holiday offer. It includes model-specific charging vouchers, a two-year maintenance package, an extended warranty of up to 200,000 kilometers and 7.77 per cent interest financing.
Mr. Rajeev Chauhan, Head of BYD’s Electric Passenger Vehicle Business in India, said Maharashtra is an important market. He said the new showroom strengthens the retail network and supports the growing demand for electric vehicles.
