Olectra Greentech appoints Casey Vora as Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships.

Olectra Greentech Limited has appointed automotive industry veteran KC Vora as Vice President – ​​Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, effective October 1, 2026. In his new role, Vora will oversee technology development programs, intellectual property management and institutional partnerships as the company expands its bus manufacturing operations in Hyderabad.

Vora will focus on strengthening Olectra Greentech’s innovation and intellectual property capabilities across various areas of the business, including product design and development, manufacturing processes, sales and service operations and technology development. His responsibilities will also include supporting the company’s work on fuel cell buses.

“I look forward to contributing to this journey by building a strong innovation and IPR culture across product design and development, manufacturing processes, sales and service operations and technology development, including fuel cell buses,” Vora said.

Vora has experience in the automotive industry, academia and regulatory organizations. He previously served as Senior Deputy Director at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), where he was involved in automotive technology and testing-related activities.

As part of his new responsibilities at Olectra Greentech, Vora will also lead the company’s partnerships with industry associations and testing and certification agencies. The company’s partnership focus will include industry bodies such as the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), as well as testing and certification organizations including ARAI, ICAT, GARC and NATRAX.

This appointment is expected to support Olectra Greentech’s efforts to strengthen its technology development, innovation, intellectual property management and strategic industry partnerships as it grows its electric bus manufacturing operations.
