Bengaluru-based energy-tech innovator Exponent Energy has officially launched its first Exponent Sales Point (ESP) store in Lagere, Bengaluru, marking its entry into the three-wheeler electric vehicle (EV) retail market. The new store brings the entire range of Exponent-enabled three-wheelers under one roof and serves as a one-stop hub for EV sales, test drives and retrofitting services.
The ESP store also provides retrofit services for existing CNG and LPG passenger three-wheelers, converting them into fully electric vehicles. Customers can drop off their auto and receive an EV retrofit within 24 hours, making the transition seamless and convenient.

Exponent has partnered with leading OEMs such as Montra Electric (Murugappa Group) and Kinetic Green to launch five EV three-wheeler models so far. With this foundation, Exponent plans to expand its network, opening 15+ additional touchpoints across Bengaluru by FY26, making EV adoption practical, efficient and hassle-free for auto drivers.

In November 2025, Exponent Energy also entered the EV retrofit business with its newly launched retrofit technology, Exponent Auto, which is capable of converting any CNG or LPG auto into an electric vehicle in just 24 hours. With zero down payment, flexible EMIs, EMIs and an assured buyback after three years, Exponent makes the transition to Electric simple. Exponent Auto allows drivers to save up to ₹5,000 every month even after accounting for charging and EMI costs.
Co-founded in 2020 by former Ather executives Arun Vinayak and Sanjay Bayalal, the company has worked on its battery pack (e^Pack), charging station (e^Pump), and charging connector (e^Plug), which together unlock 15-minute rapid charge and a 3,000 cycle life warranty for EVs (a new industry standard) – all done on a range of affordable Li-ion cells.
