OPG Mobility (formerly Oka EV), a leading player in India’s Electric Mobility Sector, has appointed Mr. Ajay Dhiman as Chairman – Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for its electric vehicle and EV component division.
In the role of this strategic leadership, Sri Dhiman will lead important tasks including manufacturing, R&D, product development, quality, strategic sourcing, supply chain management and business strategy. Their appointment takes a big step forward in the expansion of OPG mobility and innovation roadmap as it prepares for the next stage of development in EV space.
With a stellar track records spread over two decades in the Automotive and EV industry, Sri Dhiman brings a unique mix of strategic and technical vision and operational excellence. Recently serving as Senior Vice President in Revolt Motors, he played a transformative role in CXO-Level Work, including operations, research and development, product engineering, strategic sourcing and supply chain and P&L management. Under his leadership, a significant role was played in executing the record-breaking development deadline and launching new-or-electric mobility products with best quality.
During his career, he served in leadership positions in top automotive OEMs such as Honda, Renault-Nissan, Sabros and Sonalika Group, where he led high-influence projects in 2W, 3W and 4W segment. A BTech in Mechanical Engineering, in association with dual MBA in marketing and operation, Sri Dhiman is recognized for his deep technical insight with widely strategic skills, execution excellence, innovation -led thinking and ability to distribute complex programs under the aggressive timeline.
Sri Dhiman has been at the forefront of developing and launching market-agron vehicles, establishing mass manufacturing operations and running state-of-the-art technological innovations. He is widely recognized for his technology and execution-operated leadership style, which successfully distributed multi-million-dollars EV programs from concept to commercial success. Technology, product reliability, cost-effectiveness and their sharp focus on solutions prepared for the future makes them an important asset because OPG mobility sets his places when he becomes a class leader in the location of EV and components.
