In an important step towards permanent urban transport, the Delhi government has unveiled the Devi (Delhi Electric Vehicle Interchange) initiative, which features a fleet of advanced, environmentally friendly electric buses developed by India’s leading EV manufacturer, PMI Electro Mobility.
In the official launch, 255 fully electric 9-meter PMI buses were told by the Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. In the presence of reputed dignitaries including Rekha Gupta, Mr. Harsh Malhotra, Honorable Minister of State for Transport and Highways and Corporate Affairs; Mr. Pankaj Singh, Honorable Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Transport and IT; And Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Honorable Union Minister for Education. The event also saw the participation of members of Parliament representing Delhi and cabinet ministers of Delhi’s NCT government.
