MIAS 2025 points with 20th anniversary Vinfast Debut | Vampire

Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) celebrates its 20th year with one milestone in 2025- Wintfast, making its first appearance in the event. The Vietnamese EV manufacturer’s participation highlights its growing focus on the Philippine Electric Vehicle Market, which aligns permanent dynamics with the country’s drive.

The construction of global speed towards electric vehicles continues. In 2024, EV sales increased by 25%, reaching 17.1 million units worldwide – a strong change towards cleaner transportation. This development is being intensified by the bold government initiative, many countries have targeted EVS to target 50% of the sales of all new cars by 2030. As the world rallies for a greenery future, both vehicle manufacturers and consumer are taking steps to embrace the power revolution.

The Philippines, in particular, emerging as a promising market for electric vehicles. The house of over 110 million people, the country, presents an important opportunity for EV adoption. VF 7, meanwhile, provides a sporty yet versatile driving experience, which is available in single or double-motor options. At the top end, Winfast’s VF9 SUV comfortably on seven seats, mixing luxury with impressive performance – makes it an ideal option for long road trips and family outings.

In particular, outside Vietnam, the Philippines is the only country in the world that offers such a diverse winfast lineup. This highlights the strategic importance of the market for the company and strengthens its commitment to make electric vehicles accessible to a wide range of consumers.

The company plans to set up more than 100 service centers and expand the national charging network by the end of 2025, having partnership with local players such as Motech and Jiga. This approach reflects the successful model of Winfast in Vietnam and supports the stability goals of the Philippines by reducing emissions and dependence on imported fuels.
