In the past year, the company has completed more than 20.5 million zero-emission deliveries, setting a new standard in eco-friendly logistics and strengthening its commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of last-mile delivery. Zypp now handles around 15-20% of all instant commerce orders in the Delhi-NCR region.

The instant commerce market in India, valued at approximately $60 to $70 billion, is seen as the next big growth opportunity. Focusing on ultra-fast delivery of groceries and daily essentials, the sector is expected to grow significantly, with estimates that it could reach $25 billion to $55 billion by 2030. Companies like Zypp Electric are playing a key role in this growth enabler—sourcing new, quality delivery partners, reducing churn, ensuring reliable and predictable delivery patterns, and decarbonizing last-mile logistics for businesses.

Through strategic partnerships with instant commerce giants like Zepto, Blinkit, Big Basket Now and Instamart, Zip Electric has contributed to a massive reduction of 2.5 million kilograms of carbon emissions. With Zepto, the company has completed approximately 10.4 million deliveries, reducing carbon emissions by 11.95 lakh kilograms. Blinkit followed closely, achieving 7.19 million deliveries and reducing emissions by 8.29 lakh kilograms. Similarly, BBNow made 2.76 million deliveries, resulting in a carbon reduction of 4.22 lakh kg, while Instamart, which recently launched with Zypp, made 2.15 lakh deliveries, resulting in a reduction of over 72,251 kg in emissions. The company is dedicated to transforming urban logistics by adopting electric vehicles and impacting the lives of delivery partners who earn through its platform. In the recent festival season, top earners on Zypp Delivery Pilot have earned around ₹99,949 per month, showing its immense potential not only for instant commerce but also for the gig-economy.

An important milestone in Zypp Electric’s pursuit of zero emissions is approaching as the company prepares to deliver its 21st millionth. To celebrate this milestone, Co-Founder and CEO Akash Gupta and the entire management team will personally deliver the 21st million delivery, highlighting India’s growing demand for electric, carbon-free deliveries. This reaffirms the company’s dedication towards sustainability and makes a strong statement about the potential of electric delivery in India.
